It's Okay, the Boogie Man is Gone

It is with a sense of profound relief that we say goodbye to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.  It is like a fog of oppression has lifted, and we can see hope in the clear light of day.  Although they are no longer in positions of authority, we still owe then the courtesy that we must show to everyone.  Therefore, any scorn and derision that they may have earned will be withheld here.

To President Biden, we wish you a pleasant journey, and a quiet retirement.  As the old Hank Williams song goes (with a little literary license), “Goodbye Joe you gotta go me oh my oh …”

To Vice President Harris, we simply say “Please don’t come back.”  We praise God for answered prayer that she was not elected to be president.  May the Lord bless her and keep her … far, far away

We wish that the Biden Presidency was all a bad dream.  It wasn’t, and let’s hope the train wreak they made of our country can still be put back on the tracks.  It’s okay, the Boogie Man is gone - for now.  We must be vigilant, and careful with how we vote.  Otherwise, he may come back.  The Progressives, Socialists, and Marxists are down, but they are not out.

Let Us Praise the Lord

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.  In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.”

(Ephesians 1:3-10 ESV) [1]
